How it works

How a deal with RockHaven works

You deal directly with RockHaven Capital as the buyer throughout the process. The business is not listed publicly at any stage.

STEP 1

A private conversation

The process starts with a private conversation about your business and your plans after a sale. If RockHaven is not the right buyer, we will say so during that conversation.

STEP 2

A valuation from the records

We review the financial records for the business including its tax returns. We then give you a valuation and explain the basis for that figure.

STEP 3

Terms agreed with you

Terms cover cash at close and seller financing where it fits the deal. Transition arrangements are agreed with you as part of those terms.

STEP 4

Closing

Closing is aimed at four to eight weeks after terms are agreed. Your team stays in place after closing.

Questions from owners

Questions owners ask first

What does it cost me?

Sellers are charged no fees, ever. You may take your own tax and legal advice at your own cost.

Is this confidential?

Everything stays confidential. No listing is published and no announcement is made about a possible sale.

Do you keep my team?

We keep your team. The people who run the business day to day are a central part of what RockHaven is acquiring.

How long does it take?

We respond within two business days. Once terms are agreed, the target for closing is four to eight weeks.
